Posture - Have your child check their sitting posture when at the table
The sights, sounds and traditions of Halloween can be overwhelming to the senses and to the brain. Some children with sensory processing difficulties may scream or cover their ears at loud noises. They may be easily startled by or wary of decorations, costumes or masks. Some may find large crowds or parties difficult, they may react by running away or refusing to take part in games. Some may have food sensitivities or find it difficult to take part in messy Halloween activities.
